Strong Roots Lasting Impact

Olive Tree Family is for parents who refuse to quit. In a world of quick fixes, we honor God's slow, steady work: Deep roots in faith, branches of connection, and fruit that nourishes generations.

Olive Tree Approach

Olive trees take time and care but reward with enduring value—if you don't give up.

I’m here for those facing long-term difficulty—fostering faith-deep roots and family bonds that thrive for generations.

"Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up."

Services

A gnarled, ancient olive tree with thick, twisted trunk and dense green foliage in a grassy field.

At Olive Tree Family, my services center on three pillars—encouragement, skills, and hope—rooted in the Connected Families Framework. This gospel-focused approach helps your kids feel safe, loved, called, and capable, growing into responsible people God designed them to be.

For parents in long-term difficulty, I’ll equip you with practical tools to communicate grace-filled truths, strengthening bonds even in chaos.

Like an olive tree, your family can build deep roots for generational strength—transitioning from surviving to thriving through every trial.

  • 15 minutes to talk through your challenges. We'll pray, listen, and outline next steps. Ideal if you're not sure where to begin.

  • 4 sessions with a fifth session for practical application. A clear path through four key principles: safety, love, capability, and responsibility.

  • Tailored support for your unique needs—like adoption adjustments, learning differences, or daily chaos. Sessions mix prayer, Scripture, and strategies to foster long-term resilience.

Meet Angel

A smiling woman with short blonde hair, wearing a navy sleeveless dress and layered pearl necklaces against a plain background.

I'm Angel Larsen, a certified Connected Families coach, wife, and homeschooling mom to nine—five biological, three adopted, and one co-parented with her biological dad for the past 11 years. Based in central Minnesota, I started Olive Tree Family to share encouragement, skills, and hope with families in difficult situations, helping you survive and thrive even in chaos.

For 18 years, I've homeschooled kids with Reactive Attachment Disorder, Auditory Processing challenges, dyslexia, giftedness, and the ups and downs of sensitive, intense personalities.

We've walked through juvenile court, foster care, and long-term placement, learning firsthand how God turns obstacles into growth. I offer biblical wisdom and simple strategies to help parents, grandparents, and teachers— build strong, loving relationships that endure long-term challenges with lasting rewards.

My goal? Equip you with grace-filled tools to communicate truths that last, transitioning you from simply surviving difficulty to thriving through it.
